B.F CLAUNCH

Funeral services for B.F. Claunch, age 98, of Grayson, will be held at 10:00 
AM Wednesday, March 26, 2014 rom the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia 
with Bro. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove 
Cemetery in Rhinehart. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM 
at the funeral home.

B.F. Was born May 7, 1915 to Vannah Esley and Mary Ellen Mason Claunch in 
Clarks and he passed from this life on March 19, 2014 at Haven Nursing Center 
in Columbia.

He served his country in the Navy and he was a member of Old Bethel Baptist 
Church in Clarks. He was retired from Standard Dredging Corporation after 
thirty two years. He was a Mason and member of the Michael Dempsey Lodge in 
Jena. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mollie L. Claunch; his parents; 
son: Donald Ray Claunch; grandson: Kevin Elliot Claunch; granddaughter: Amber 
Christine Claunch,

He is survived by three sons: Charles E. Claunch and his wife Dina of Santa 
Fe, TX; Jerry P. Claunch and his wife Shirley of Las Cruces, N.M.; Robert E. 
Claunch and his wife Bonnie of Texas City, TX; granddaughter: Paula of 
Littleton, CO; three grandsons: Scott of Alberqurque, NM; Robert, Jr. of 
Pearland, TX; Anthony of Galveston, TX; eight great-grandchildren; three great-
great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scott David Claunch, Robert E, Claunch, Jr., Anthony 
Claunch, Russell Price, Charles Bird, and John Reitzell.
