JACK CLAUNCH

Jack Claunch, a native of Pineville and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away 
Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Jena Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. 
Jack was retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish School System after many 
years of teaching at Baton Rouge High School and serving as a Visiting Teacher. 
He also served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was very active in Freemasonry 
since 1947.

Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd on 
Monday, April 25, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Graveside services will be at 
Greenoaks Memorial Park on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 10:00am.

Mr. Claunch is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Alan Claunch and 
his wife Christine; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, along with 
numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Preceded in death by his 
wife, Sue Macy Claunch, and a step daughter, Terra Tepper.

The family wishes to express their appreciation for wonderful care provided by 
the staff at Jena Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and All Saints 
Hospice.
