BILLY JOE CLEM

Memorial Services for Billy Joe Clem, 70, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 19, 2014 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA with Rev. Mike Green and Rev. Neil Everett officiating.

Mr. Clem was born on July 25, 1943 in Rosedale, MS and passed away on April 
15, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Army for 6 years, 
with a tour of duty in Vietnam. Mr. Clem worked at Sears and Roebuck as a T.V. 
Technician for 24 years. He then opened Clem's Electronics for 14 years. Mr. 
Clem enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, but was an avid deer hunter. He 
was a great father, grandfather, and friend. He is preceded in death by his 
parents, Clarence and Clara Clem; brothers, James, and Virgil Wayne; sisters, 
Audrey Abernathy, Louise Overstreet and Mildred Clem.

Survivors include his son, Billy Dwayne Clem; daughter, Sherri Clem Johnston 
and husband, Sam; four grandchildren, Laura Brown and husband, Blake; Luke 
Johnston and wife, Sara; Billy Dwayne Clem, Jr. and Hope Johnston; two great 
grandchildren, Darcy Jane Brown and Jase Daniel Johnston. He was also married 
to Elsie Clem Morgan for 26 years.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until Service Time at the Funeral Home.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Scott Barron and 
Staff and to the Staff at Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation for all the care 
that was given to Mr. Clem.

He will be missed dearly.
