Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA Funeral services for Mr. William David Clinton, Jr., age 86, of Farmerville, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at Farmerville United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Kibbie Hatfield, Rev. Johnny Hankins, and Rev. Larry White. Interment will follow at the Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. Mr. Clinton was born on May 23, 1922, in El Centro, CA and passed away on January 3, 2009, in Farmerville, LA. He was a retired educator from Choudrant High School, Farmerville High School and Huttig High School in Huttig, Arkansas. He was a member of Farmerville United Methodist Church. Mr. Clinton served in the Pacific Theater during WWII with the U.S.A.F. He is preceded in death by his parents, William David Sr. and Elsie Kavanaugh Kendall; brothers James Kavanaugh Clinton and John Herman Kendall; and step- father John Kendall. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Billie Taylor Clinton of Farmerville, LA; children, Jean Pittman and husband Grady of Ellijay, GA; William David Clinton III of Waco, TX; and Catherine Cole and husband Jeffrey of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Austin David Cole and Matthew Winston Cole of Longview, TX; sister, Catherine Tillinghast of Eureka Springs, AR; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Clinton of Ruston, LA. Memorials may be made to the Farmerville United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Kerry Hill, Scotty Booth, Shorty Aulds, Dewitt Crow, Virgil Ramsey, Stein Baughman, Jr., Larry Stegall, and Pete Taylor. The family would like to express its deepest appreciation to the staff of the Farmerville Nursing and Rehab Center. Visitation will be Monday, January 5, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
