"Pete" Cobb, Jr. of West Monroe, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 surrounded by her adoring family. Mrs. Cobb was beautiful in every way, her warm smile and happy disposition were an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved everyone, and touched the lives of all whom she met. Mrs. Cobb cherished her family as they were the most important part of her life, second only to her devotion to the church. She was an active member for over 80 years at the McClendon Baptist Church, where she and her family were charter members. Mrs. Cobb is survived by her son, Dr. F. P. Cobb, III and wife Marsha of Calhoun, LA; daughter, Diana Cobb Bonner and husband Jerry of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Greg Bonner and wife Kristy, Cari Bonner Lowry and husband Brad, Tyler Cobb and wife Melissa, Matthew Cobb and wife Amanda, and Leigh Cobb; ten great-grandchildren, sister, Ann Finklea Haley of West Monroe, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Wilmer Cobb, 92, will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at McClendon Baptist Church, West Monroe with Rev. James Gardner and Rev. Kevin Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Carlton Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund at McClendon Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Ron Barfield, Ralph Owens, Wesley Roberson, Wade Bishop, Todd Gregory, Glen Leshe, Austin Bonner, Cody Bonner, and Layton Lowry.
