Jowers and Rev. Waymond Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery at Rocky Branch, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mr. Cobb was born on March 7, 1920 in Ouachita Parish, LA and passed away on February 20, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. He was Superintendent of Mail for the U. S. Post Office and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Cobb; a sister, Carolyn Jowers, and parents, Leander and Clara Cobb. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Clarice Cobb Case and husband Jimmy and Jan Elizabeth Cobb Walker and husband Steve; four sons, Wesley Earl Cobb, Jr. and wife Renee, David Ronald Cobb and wife Barbara, Robert Allen Cobb and wife Diane, and Richard Randolph Cobb and wife Becki; grandchildren, Lisa Diane Cobb Cleveland and husband Keith, Robert Aaron Cobb, Jeffrey Allen Cobb and wife Lindsay, Kelly Michelle Cobb Marshall and husband Bryan, Jaclyn Estelle Cobb Chavez and husband John, Steven Carl Walker, Jr., Lauren Elizabeth Walker, Stanley Ailshie, Jr., Brian Ailshie and wife Audrey, Angela Ailshie, and Lindsey Ingram and husband Philip; great-grandchildren Wesley Miller, Khala Miller, Gene Flores, Kadyn Marshall, Conner Cobb, Oliver Cobb, Veronica Butler, Jonah Ingram, Makenzie Ingram, Jarrett Ailshie, Lauren Ailshie, and Ryan Ailshie; sister, Orene Bayles; brother, Charlie Cobb, brother-in-law, John Jowers and numerous other family members. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be nephews and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Fair Park Baptist Church.
