ERNESTINE H. COKER

Funeral services for Mrs. Ernestine H. Coker, 77, will be 2:00 pm Sunday, 
January 27, 2013, at the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home officiating the 
service will be Revs. Charles Dupree and Wade Coker. Interment will follow at 
New Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Coker was born in Wisner on February 5, 1935 and continued her spiritual 
journey on Friday Morning January 25, 2013 at her residence. She was a 
resident of Calhoun, a homemaker and a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist 
Church.

Mom was the perfect example of what a mother and wife is. She was never the 
center of attention, but was always there for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Billy Ray Coker; her children Wanda 
Davis (Steve), Ray Coker (Kay), Wade Coker (Dee Ann); her grandchildren Chad 
Coker (Amanda) , Tony Coker, Heath Davis (Amy), Drew Coker, Michelle Coker and 
Nathan Coker; her great grandchildren Logan and Katie Coker; her brother 
Ronald Hickingbottom (Penny).

Pallbearers will be Chad Coker, Drew Coker, Tony Coker, Heath Davis, Wesley 
Coker and Matt Coker

Visitation for friends will be Saturday 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
