DR. JOHN ROBERT "JACK" COLE

Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Dr. John Robert "Jack" Cole, 78, of Monroe, will be held 
at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2008, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church 
with Rev. J. Roddy Taylor officiating. Interment will be at Christ Church 
Cemetery in Bastrop, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Dr. Cole, a retired dentist, was born May 10, 1930 in Walnut Grove, MS and 
passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Opal Cole of Bastrop, LA.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Ann Buatt Cole; his son and 
daughter-in-law, Jack and Nancy Cole of Monroe and their children, John, 
Mitchell, and Caroline; his daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Andy Welch of 
Dallas, TX and their children, Thomas and Sarah Kate; his sister, Mary Lou 
Turpin of Bastrop, LA; and nieces, Kim Turpin Davis and Cherri Turpin Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Robert Carter, Dr. Mike Nolan, Boots 
Gladney, Clay Johnson, and Harvey Gregg.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pot Luck Hunting Club.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at St. Paul's 
United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association of 
Monroe, 300 Washington Street, Suite 100K, Monroe, LA 71201.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to his caregivers, Ora 
Lee Drungo, Arabia Stephenson, Barbara Stephenson, Daphne Thomas, and the 
staff of Azalea Estates.
