Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Speir Cole, 84, of Monroe will be at 2:00 PM 
Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Dr. Alan 
Miller officiating with interment to follow at Monroe Memorial Park under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mrs. Cole was born March 9, 1924 in Monroe, LA and passed away on December 18, 
2008 in Monroe, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Wesley Ray Cole in April 
2003.

Mrs. Cole was retired from the Ouachita Parish Sheriffs Department and was a 
long time member of First Baptist Church of Swartz. She was a choir member and 
4th grade Sunday School Teacher where she influenced the lives of many young 
people.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her sons: Kenneth R. Cole and wife, Marta, Ronald E. 
Cole and wife, Mary; daughters: Kathy Thompson and Kay Buchart ten 
grandchildren: Cammeron Lutrick, Melissa Spencer, Kelli Thompson, Trey 
Buchart, Megan Reyna, Amanda Buchart, Wesley and Kenneth Cole, Kari Borgman, 
Justin Boudreaux; five great grandchildren: Corin, Hannah, Sara, Emma Grace 
and Karson; sisters: Virginia Renwick, Marie Glenn, Patsy Causey and husband, 
Marion; brothers: George Speir and wife, Joan, David Speir and wife, Sarah, 
and Jerry Speir and wife, Barbara; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM Saturday, 
December 20, 2008.
