BETTIE CHAPMAN COLE 

Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA 

Funeral services for Mrs. Bettie Chapman Cole, 72, of the Rocky Branch 
Community, will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Pentecostals 
of Twin Cities in West Monroe with Pastor Mark Foster and Pastor Emeritus Fred 
Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Rocky Branch Cemetery under 
the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Cole was born June 2, 1937, 
to the late J.T. and Vera Gardner Chapman. She went to be with her Lord and 
Savior on Sunday, July 5, 2009. A lifelong resident of Rocky Branch, she was a 
member of the Farmerville High School Class of 1955, a teacher at the Twin 
Cities Christian Academy and a member of the Pentecostals of Twin Cities. Mrs. 
Cole was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was devoted to her family 
and church. She spent hours reading the Bible and was a dedicated "Prayer 
Warrior." Survivors include Ernest Cole, her beloved husband of over 54 years; 
her children, Dennis Cole and wife, Donna, of Friendswood, TX; Todd Cole and 
Jules Melon of Baton Rouge, LA; Rachel Cole of Rocky Branch; and Brian Cole 
and wife, April, of West Monroe; seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Stephanie, 
Stacie, Cody, Will, Kelly, and Katy; five great grandchildren; a sister, 
Glenda Chapman King; a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Albritton; and a number of 
nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Dalton "PeeWee" Spillers, Jeremy Foster, 
Trent Bratton, Steve and Darren Albritton, and Keith Mayfield. Visitation will 
be Monday evening, July 6, 2009, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of West Monroe. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
