MARTA LONG COLE

In memory of Marta Long Cole, born Sept. 7, 1956, in Monroe, La., died 
Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at home in Southlake.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Colleyville. Interment 
follows in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation; 10 a.m. Wednesday at 
the church.

Marta worked in telecommunications for Century Telephone for 25 years in 
Monroe, La. She enjoyed her many friends, including all of "The Boopers." 
Marta also enjoyed helping others personally and through various charitable 
organizations.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Long.

Survivors: Marta is survived by her husband, Ken, of 26 years; her daughter, 
Kari Borgman and husband, Ben, of Southlake; her stepdaughter, Cammeron 
Lutrick and husband, Trey, of Monroe, La.; her stepdaughter, Melissa Spencer 
of Monroe, La.; her grandchildren, Karson Borgman and Ally Borgman; her 
stepgrandchildren, Sara McQuillin and husband, Shane, Corin Lutrick, Hannah 
Lutrick and Emma Spencer; her mother, Anita Farrier and husband, Benett; her 
sister, Annelle Long; her brother, Dwight Long.
