JAMES ROBERT JR. COLEMAN

The funeral service for James Robert Coleman, Jr., 87, of Choudrant, will be at 
2:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. 
Bro. Jason Maza, Bro. Leonard Garlington, and Bro. Donald Cardin will be 
officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will 
follow at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Mr. Coleman was born April 8, 1927 in Delhi, LA and passed away December 24, 
2014 at his home in Choudrant, Louisiana. He was a retired sheet metal worker, 
a WWII veteran in the US Navy, and a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne, his parents, and eight brothers 
and sisters.

Mr. Coleman is survived by four daughters, Sherry Whitehead (Bobby), Debra 
Cardin (Tommy), Brenda Cardin (Donald), and Robbie Carter (Greg); one son, Paul 
Everett Coleman (Susie); two brothers, Nolan and Leo Coleman; three sisters, 
Myrtle Patrick, Bertha Slayter, and Polly Taylor; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
