LEE BARTET COLLINS

Lee Bartet Collins

Funeral services for Lee Bartet Collins of Lake Providence, LA will be 2:00 
PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Lake 
Providence with Rev. Owen Peyton officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Bastrop, LA 
under direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence, LA.

Lee was retired as an employee of St. Patrick's Elementary and Briarfield 
Academy, was an active member of the Northeast Louisiana Walk to Emmaus, and 
an active member of First United Methodist Church of Lake Providence, where 
she served on numerous committees and as a choir member throughout the years.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend who touched the lives of all 
who knew her and will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Michael "Mike" Collins, and her 
parents, Hubert Preston Bartet and Evelyn Mead Bartet.

Survivors include her son, John Michael Collins II and his wife Stacy of River 
Ridge, LA; son, David Campbell Collins and his wife Rachel of Shreveport, LA; 
granddaughter, Claire Sydney Collins; granddaughter, Madeline Sarah Collins; 
grandson, Campbell Wallace Collins; brother, Richard Bartet of Texarkana, AR; 
sister, Janie Scott of Monroe, LA; brother, Preston Bartet of Shreveport, LA; 
sister, Marion Simon of Baton Rouge, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stan Anderson, Chris Bickley, Scott Latham, Paul LeBeau, 
David Oswalt, and Peter Simon.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday December 12, 2011 at Cox 
Funeral Home, Lake Providence, LA.
