LENNIE MAE COODY

Funeral services for Mrs. Lennie Mae Coody of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm 
Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe, LA 
with Rev. Cecil Herrington officiating. Interment will follow at Hebert 
Cemetery in Hebert, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation 
will be from 1:00pm until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Coody was born February 15, 1935 in Marion, LA and passed from this life 
on June 12, 2016 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 81. She was a member of West 
Heights Missionary Baptist Church of West Monroe. She loved her church and she 
loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Coody, Jr.; one son, Randy 
Coody; four brothers, Hugh Pate, James Phillips, Van Phillips and Marion 
Phillips.

Survivors include her son, Steve Coody and wife Summer of Hebert, LA; her 
daughter, Bridgette Coody of Farmerville, LA; one sister, Mary White and 
husband, Lewis of West Monroe, LA; also survived by six grandchildren, nine 
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
