Enola Calhoun Cook Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Enola Calhoun Cook, 94, of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in the Eva Church of God of Monterey, LA with Rev. Glen Young officiating. Interment will follow at Jessie Beasley Cemetery. Mrs. Cook attended the Eva Church of God in Monterey, LA and was an avid fisherman. She loved being “Down on Black River”. Enola lived in Monterey, LA for the last 35 years and had lived in West Monroe for the past three years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred B. Cook. She is survived by her sons, Fred B. Cook, Jr. of Houston, TX and Mickey Cook and wife, Dee Dee of West Monroe, LA; six grandchildren, Trey Cook and wife, Patty of Baton Rouge, LA, Amiee Reeves and husband, Todd of Birmingham, AL, Julie Norris and husband, Chris of West Monroe, LA, Julie Cook of Houston, TX, Ashley McDonald and husband, Tim of San Antonio, TX, and Daniel Cook and wife, Rachel of Flower Mound, TX; ten great grandchildren; and sisters, Marjorie Sturgeon and Frances Beane. Pallbearers will be Nicky Pere, Riley Lee Calhoun, John Sturgeon, Rodney B. Calhoun, Billy Beane, and J.W. Calhoun. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, January 26, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA and at 1:00 PM until service time Tuesday at Eva Church of God of Monterey, LA. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Foundation League’s Patient Services Committee, 141 DeSiard Street, Suite 407, Monroe, LA 71201.
