Shreveport, LA

Our loving mother, sister and Mimi, Sue Barmore Cook, passed from this life 
Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in Shreveport, LA. A graveside service will be held 
at the Colvin Memorial Cemetery, Unionville, LA at 11:00 AM Friday, July 31, 
2009.

She was born in Lincoln Parish to Henry C. Barmore and Mamie Colvin Barmore on 
February 24, 1930. Sue was a graduate of Ruston High School and attended 
Brenau College in Gainesville, GA. She was a member of Broadmoor Baptist 
Church.

Sue was the mother of Paula Kirk and her husband, Les, Julie Cook, K.D. 
Kilpatrick, Jr. and his wife, Mitzie, and Richard Kilpatrick; grandmother of 
Jason Kirk and his wife, Charis, Christopher Kirk and his wife, Kristin, 
Melanie Kirk, Joshua Kilpatrick, Connor Kilpatrick and his wife, Caroline , 
Ryan Kilpatrick, Kristin Kilpatrick Stuart and her husband, Robert, Taylor and 
Colin Kilpatrick; great grandmother of Cassidy Kirk and Georgia Kate Stuart; 
and sister of Alice Heaberlin and Patsy Critselous. Sue was a member of a very 
large extended family so, we do not have the space to list all of her kin who 
loved her and shared a close relationship with her.

Sue requested that those who wish to remember her make an offering to a 
favored charity, church or mission.
