A.K. COOK

A.K. Cook was born August 26, 1928 in Bono, AR and passed away Friday, January 
8, 2016 in Monroe, LA. The family will hold a private memorial service for him 
at a later date.

Mr. Cook served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his son, Michael Cook; parents, W.W. and 
Hattie Cook.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Cook of Monroe; children, Eddie Cook and wife, 
Virginia of Nashville, TN, Brigitte Cook of Owensboro, KY, Sherry DeMoss and 
husband, Gary of Monroe, Charles "Bubba" Donald of Lafayette, Rory Donald and 
wife, Patsy of Monroe; grandchildren, Carrie Skains and husband, Joey, Joanie 
Graves and husband, Michael, Natalie DeMoss, Misty Strong and husband, T, Abby 
Anderson and husband, Joey, Dianne Cothern and husband, Johnny, Bryan Donald 
and wife, Marty, Samuel Donald, Gayle Donald, Amanda Elliott and husband, Matt, 
Isaac Hale, Paul Hale, Rebekah Hale; 20-great grandchildren; very special great 
grandson, Drake Graves; brothers, J.L. Cook and wife, Tommie of Rayville, Tom 
Cook and wife, Rosie of Jonesboro, AR; sisters, Armilda Beard of Maryland, 
Francis Ford of Spring Hill, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to a charity of your choice in Mr. Cook's memory.
