ANN MENEFEE COOK


Funeral services for Ann Menefee Cook, 83, of Monroe, will be held at 12:00 PM, 
Monday, August 15, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA with 
Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating.

Mrs. Cook was born on December 13, 1932 in Haynesville, LA and after a lengthy 
illness passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 in Monroe, LA. She was a loving 
wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She was a 
graduate of Northeast Louisiana University.

Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her parents J.M. "Pete" and Doris Menefee; 
daughter, Kristy Ann Cook; brothers, Jerry Leonard Menefee, Ben Brubaker, and 
Tommy Brubaker.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James D. Cook; children, Jena 
Brubaker, Mike Cook, Lesli Cook Holt, Shelley Cook and James Cook Jr.; 11 
grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Sewell, Tyler Cook, Tyler Brubaker, Scott Turner and 
Spence Turner.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service time, Monday, August 15, 
2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital of Memphis TN.
