Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in Cook Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Mr. Cook was born December 1, 1929, and passed away September 22, 2017. He started H.A Cook Plumbing Co in 1969. Mr. Cook was a charter member of Mid- South Regional Car Club, Pierce Arrow Society and was an old car enthusiast. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. and Mrs. Cook loved to travel together. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Cook; parents, Henry "Crit" Cook and Virginia "Jennie" Spigener Cook; sisters, Mary Cook Concelli, Bonnie Cook Moore, Evelyn Cook McDougale; and brother Norman Cook. Mr. Cook is survived by his sons, Marty Cook and wife Barbara of West Monroe, Russ Cook and his wife Terri of Downsville; grandchildren, Scott Cook, Master Serg. Matthew Cook and wife Kathy of Lincoln, DE., Jacob Cook and Leah Cook Gumm; and great grandchildren, Kennedy, Noah, Joanna, Addison and Wyatt Cook; sisters, Barbara Cook Wheeler and Virginia Cook; and special friend Shirley Poe. Pallbearers will be Master Serg. Matthew Cook, Jacob Cook, Hardy T. Hays, Buddy Tarver, Chuck Cambre and Merlin Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Richard Paulus and Glen and Ronnie Cockrell. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. The family would like to give a special thank you to Ashley Robinson and Louisiana Hospice. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Northeast Louisiana Autism Society 24 Karen Lane Monroe, LA 71203 to the attention of Lynda Huggins in honor of his grandson Scott.
