Funeral services for Edna Lois Cook, 88, of Delhi, LA will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe with Brother Bernard Duchense and Brother Pete Bradfield officiating. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Mrs. Cook was born December 16, 1921 in Clarks, LA and passed away on December 29, 2009 in West Monroe, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of Dunn Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband J. W. "Bill" Cook in 1966, by her parents: Daniel and Annie Honeycutt, and by 4 sisters: Muriel Stringfellow, Claudia Ultzsch, Virgie Daigle and Lavone Burford, and granddaughter: Angela Lois Cook. Mrs. Cook is survived by 2 daughters: Diane Rich and husband, James, Brenda Cook and husband, Dwayne; grandson: Jay Len Caraway; 2 great grandchildren: Jacob Daniel and Sarah Grace Caraway; 2 sisters: Vonceil Bryan and Opal Newman and husband, Bob; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special sister-in-law: Gertrude Rikard. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 2, 2010.
