WILLIAM CLAYTON SR. COOPER

Funeral services for Mr. William Clayton Cooper, Sr., 83, of Dunn, LA will be
held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Dunn Baptist Church with Rev.
Eddie Fuller, Rev. Charles Best and Rev. Bernard Duchesne Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Cox
Funeral Home of Delhi.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home.

Mr. Cooper was a native and lifelong resident of Dunn, LA. He was a farmer, an
avid hunter and gardener, enjoyed numerous activities with the LA Bayou Bluebird
Society and was a member of the Yucatan Hunting Club for over 44 years. Clayton
was a member of the First Baptist Church of Delhi.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn McManus Cooper of Dunn, LA; two
sons William Clayton Cooper Jr. and wife Jean of Delhi, LA and Richard Alan
Cooper and wife Cathy of Rayville, LA; one daughter Sheryl Cooper Bassi and
husband Joe of Oak Ridge, LA; nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be H. S. "Buddy" McCartney, William Clayton Cooper III, Mark
Benjamin Cooper II, Richard Alan Cooper Jr., Richard Cooper Bassi and Heath
Sullivan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Yucatan Hunting Club.
