Terry Ganey and Bro. Mike Johnson officiating. Graveside services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following. In celebration of the life of Tobie. Tobie took her first heavenly breath on December 15, 2008 after her long journey battling Cystic Fibrosis. She found her rest at home surrounded by family and friends and under the watchful care of Kathy McCallum Spears with Professional Care Hospice and her friend and C.F. Doctor, Kimberly Jones. Tobie shared an unbelievable life with husband Eric and precious daughter Faith. She touched the lives of so many through her faith in God and her sweet words of love to everyone. Tobie graduated from Dubach High School with her goal to live life to the fullest and that she did. Her goal in dealing with C.F. was to fight the fight, run the race and keep the faith. She did with an enthusiastic awaiting in Heaven in her last days. Tobie was saved as a teenager and was a faithful servant who shared a deep intimacy with her Lord. Her passion for life impacted all who knew her. Tobie is survived by her husband Eric M. Cooper; daughter Faith Lee Cooper; mother Wanda Beckham of Bernice; father and step mother Bruce and Celia Beckham of Choudrant; brother Corey Beckham and wife Patience of Bernice; half- brothers Joseph Beckham and wife Hana of Okinawa, Japan, Ben Beckham and wife Heather of West Monroe and Josh Beckham of Monroe; step brothers Matt McCullin and wife Lacey and Kane McCullin all of Ruston; Grandmothers Lyvonne Beckham of Dubach and Janet Welch Philbrook of Bernice; step grandmother Loyce Forsythe of Choudrant as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close friends. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers O.H. "Jake" Beckham and Willie A. Welch, Jr. and great grandmother Elese Dendy and mother-in-law Ollie Ione "Tootsie" Brown. Visitation will be from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday, December 18 at First Baptist Church in Dubach. Pallbearers will be Ben Beckham, Joseph Beckham, Josh Beckham, Matt McCullin and Kane McCullin. Honorary pallbearers will be David Wall and Shawn Griffith. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.
