COOPER Gary Cooper was born on September 14, 1943 in Mobile, Alabama and passed away on March 24, 2015 in Boca Raton, Florida. Gary moved with his parents and sister from Mobile to Monroe, LA in 1950. Gary attended Monroe City Schools and graduated from Neville High School in 1962. Gary attended college at Southwestern Louisiana State College (now ULL) and graduated from Northeast Louisiana State College (now ULM) as a member of the first graduating class in Building Construction in 1969. After graduation, Gary began his career in the construction industry in Houston, Texas and also worked and lived in California. Gary moved to Florida over 35 years ago and was a Licensed General Contractor in the State of Florida residing in Boca Raton, He retired from the Construction Industry seven years ago. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Q. T. and Mildred Cooper. He is survived by three children, Marshall Cooper of St. Petersburg, FL, Paul Cooper and wife Vanessa of Jacksonville, FL, Sarah Cooper of Atlanta, Georgia and a stepson Austin Yengst, sisters Edwina Black of Mobile, AL, Patsy Lewis and husband Jerry of Monroe, LA. He is also survived by three grandchildren and one on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.
