CECILE CARPENTER COPLIN

Lake Charles, LA

Cecile Carpenter Coplin 72, of West Monroe was born on November 27, 1931 in 
Opelousas, LA. She arrived in Heaven on Monday January 26, 2004. Cecile was the 
daughter of John William Carpenter and Josephine Janis Carpenter. A life long 
resident of Westlake, LA, she moved to West Monroe in 1995 to be with family. 
Her husband, Harold Kenneth Coplin, preceded her in death. She is survived by 
her brother, Huey Carpenter of Oakdale, La, two sons, Kenneth Wayne Coplin of 
Adamsville, AL, and Wendell Dale Coplin of West Monroe, LA, four grandchildren 
and three great grandchildren, survives her.
Graveside services will be held today at 10:00 AM from Magnolia Cemetery in 
Westlake under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin 
today at 8:00 AM until 9:00 A.M.
