Graveside services for Mrs. Joyce Marie Cotney, 70, are 10:00 AM on Tuesday, 
June 22, 2010, at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe, LA. Rev. Carl Schurte and Bro Nathan 
Thorton will officiate.

Joyce Cotney was born January 10, 1940 in Kelly, LA to Stanley and Lillian 
Ballew Smith. She retired from Bancroft Bag after 33 years of service and she 
was a member of Living Way Apostolic Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, H. Everett Cotney in 1984; son, Mike 
Cotney in 2009; 3 brothers, Skeeter, Dean and Jimmy and a sister, Jean.

Survivors include two daughters, Lititia Wheeler of West Monroe, and Mary 
Morris and husband, Bobby of Eros; son, Stanley Cotney of West Monroe; seven 
grandchildren, Kathy, Norma, DeeDee, Rachel, Samantha, Kammy and Mandi; ten 
great grand children; two brothers, Malcolm Smith (Maurine) and Stanley; and 
three sisters, Loyce Caloway, Imogene Claunch, and Rose Varnell; and a number 
of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Monday, June 21, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
