JAY CARTER "SPOONS" COWEN 

Jay Carter Cowen "spoons" passed away on August 5, 2010. He was born on 
October 29 1961. A memorial service will be held at Liberty Baptist Church in 
Calhoun on Saturday August 7, 2010. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 
7:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home of West Monroe. Mr. Cowen is survived by his wife Pam, daughters 
Christina, Tiffany, Monica, and Stacy, his mother Roberta Knight of Calhoun, 
father J. Fred Cowen of Odessa Texas, sisters Robin Watson of Aztec New 
Mexico, Cindy Shoemaker of Minneapolis Minnesota, brothers Ricky Knight of 
Pampa Texas, Keith Knight of Roswell New Mexico, seven grand children, and a 
host of aunts uncles nieces and nephews.
