FLOY BLALOCK COX

Jonesboro, LA

Funeral services for Floy Cox, 90 of Jonesboro will be held on Friday, 
November 14, 2008, at 10:00 AM at Jonesboro United Methodist Church in 
Jonesboro. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Strawbridge. Interment will follow in 
the Jonesboro Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Edmonds Funeral Home 
in Jonesboro from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Cox was born on May 18, 1918, in Quitman, LA, and passed away on November 
11, 2008.

She was owner and operator of Jonesboro Hardware and Gifts. She was a longtime 
member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church where she was Sunday School 
Superintendant for many years and was very active in all aspects of the church.

Survivors include, one daughter, Sybil McDonald and husband Woody of 
Jonesboro, LA; two sons, Elmo M. Cox of Phoenix, AZ, and Scott Cox of 
Shreveport, LA; three grandchildren, Machaela Golden, Laura Boyett and 
Kristopher Cox, three step-grandchildren, Margo Maxwell, Melanie Shively and 
Michael McDonald and fifteen great-grandchildren.
