GEORGIA ANN COX

Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Ann Cox of West Monroe will be 10am Friday, 
June 6, 2014 at the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Interment will 
follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cox was born on January 3, 1953 in Monroe, La., she was raised in 
Jonesville, La and passed peacefully from this life on June 2, 2014 at her home 
in West Monroe at the age of 61.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Marval Owens; one brother, 
Boyd Emile Lunon; Father & mother-in-law, James Cox, Sr. & Cherry Pearl Turner 
Cox; one brother-in-law, William John Cox; and one sister-in-law, Karen Lasyone 
Cox.

Survivors include her husband, James Cox, Jr.; one son, David Wayne Cox; and one 
grandson, James Kindle Cox; brothers & sisters in law, Mr. & Mrs. Robert E. Cox, 
Mr. & Mrs. John Phillip Cox, and Michael & Susan Cox.
