Services for Doshie Lee Craighead, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be conducted at 
10:00 AM, Thursday, January 8, 2004 at Sardis Baptist Church near Farmerville 
under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Hawthorne will be 
officiating. Interment will follow in the Sardis Church Cemetery. Ms. Craighead 
passed away Monday, January 5, 2004 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe 
after a lenghty illness.
She was a homemaker, a CNA and a member of Sardis Baptist Church for nearly 
sixty years.
Ms. Craighead was preceded in death by her husband or fifty-seven years, 
William J. "Buster" Craighead. She is survived by three sons: Bo Craighead of 
Farmerville, Jimmy Craighead and his wife Peggy and John Craighead and his wife 
Debbie, all of West Monroe, LA; one daughter: Betty Tedeton and husband Herbert 
of Calhoun, LA; two brothers: P.D. Kyle of Downsville, LA and Bill Kyle of 
Homer, LA and one sister: Rose Emma Adkins of Farmerville, LA; fourteen 
grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and ten great great 
grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Sardis Church.
