LOIS LUCILLE CARTER CRAIN

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Lucille Carter Crain will be 10:00am Saturday, 
December 13, 2014 at Harvest Assembly of God in West Monroe with the Pastor 
John Nocera and Rev. Eugene Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the 
Welcome Home Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. 
Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, December 12, 2014 at 
Harvest Assembly of God.

Mrs. Crain was born June 29, 1924 in Grayson, LA and passed from this life on 
December 10, 2014 in West Monroe at the age of 90.

Lois Carter Crain was on the state championship basketball team in 1942 and 
graduated from Grayson High School. She retired from Rack Service Company Inc. 
Also she was a receptionist, bookkeeper, and a driver for the Ouachita Senior 
Citizen. She loved gardening, fishing, canning vegetables and fruits and most 
of all her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Docia Carter; her husband RC 
Crain; one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include her son, Roy Crain of Grayson, La; grandchildren, Lois 
(Genny) Crain Hall of Pensacola, FL, Erik Crain and wife Trina of West Monroe; 
Duke Crain and wife Deeanne of Monroe; great grandchildren, Keena Hall of 
Alabaster, AL, Jonathan Hall of Alabaster, AL, Meagan Hall of Mobil, AL and 
Caitlyn Crain of Monroe; and a host of extended family and friends.
