Ed Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Columbia. Visitation will be Friday evening at Christians Sharing Christ Church from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Mrs. Crain was born in Roxie, MS on April 7, 1914 to the union of Joseph and Mary Smith Jenkins and passed from this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. Maisie was a member of Christians Sharing Christ Church and a homemaker. She was extremely loved by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lavelle Crain, son, David Crain, granddaughter, Carol Crain, son-in-law, Leland Lloyd and her eight siblings. Survivors include her two sons; Landry Crain and wife, Ethel and Dale Crain and wife, Jean both of Grayson, three daughters; Cassie Lloyd of Grayson, Mary Taylor and husband, Bill of Clarks and Cheryl Adkins and husband, Larry of Grayson, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great- great-grandchildren and a fifth expected in October 2009. Pallbearers will be Mark Crain, Jeff Lloyd, Bo Russell, Brad Crain, Wesley Crain, Kyle Crain, Larry Adkins, Jr. and William Adkins.
