Bro. Milton Pray will officiate. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Calhoun, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Crawford was born February 16, 1942 in Monroe, LA and lost her 4 year battle with cancer on November 13, 2008. Carolyn was a life long resident of West Monroe. She was a retired insurance agent and worked in insurance for over 40 years. She loved her family and shared with her husband a love for country western music. She was an avid bass guitar player and also enjoyed playing the piano. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Dock C. Curry and Vernice McDaniel (Bill) Curry and her sister Irene Curry Campbell. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Joe Homer Crawford of West Monroe, LA; 2 children, Joey Crawford and wife Hope of West Monroe, LA. and Doug Crawford of West Monroe, LA; her five grandchildren, Josh Crawford, Dallas Singleton, Chris Crawford, Carter Crawford and Seth Crawford; her sister, Ginger Gulett and husband Jim of West Monroe, LA and a host of nieces, nephews and brother and sister-in-laws. Carolyn held close to her heart a host of close friends. The Crawford family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Marion, Dr. Mills, the nurses and staff of the LSU Oncology Department in Monroe, LA. Special thanks also to the nurses and staff at Patients Choice Hospice. Your patience, dedication, and care were greatly appreciated. And finally thank you to the sitters who spent time caring for her in her last days. Pallbearers will be: Robert Kelly, Jr., Tommy Kelly, Justin Malone, Toby Burnett, Bobby Fletcher, Jay Hicks and Buddy Jordan.
