Graveside services for Mr. Owen Davis "Duck" Creed, age 89, will be held at 
2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John 
Rushing officiating. Friends and family are asked to assemble at Crothers-
Glenwood Funeral Home prior to services. A time of visitation will begin at 
12:00 until time of service.
Mr. Creed died Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Colonial Manor Guest Home in 
Rayville. He was a retired businessman, had served two terms on Tallulah City 
Council and was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tessie Goss Creed and six brothers and 
sisters.
He is survived by a daughter, Connie Creed Parker and husband Michael of 
Wedowee, AL; son, David Creed and wife Billie of Monroe, LA; grandsons, David 
Creed, Jr. of Monroe, LA, Jason Parker of Dallas, GA, Sean Parker of Newnan, 
GA; granddaughters, Tammie Creed of Breaux Bridge, LA and Brittani Creed of 
Monroe, LA; sisters-in-law, Verna Mae Bishop and Novie Jean Creed and many 
nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Goss, Malcolm Bishop, Tommy Bishop, Jason Parker, 
Sean Parker, David Creed, Jr. and Andy Vining.
