Dr. Kevin Stewart and Rev. Don Wright will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Mr. Johnnie Croft was born on September 16, 1938 and passed away on June 16, 2016. He was retired from Graphic Packaging and served in the United States Army as a Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie Croft; brother, Jerry Croft and sister, Barbara Parker, all of West Monroe. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years Margaret Croft, son, Billy Croft and daughter, Beth Wright and her husband Jason Wright, and granddaughter Elisabeth Wright all of West Monroe. One brother, Gordon Croft. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Johnnie loved Christ as his Savior and going to church. He also loved listening to Southern Gospel and Cajun music. He loved to be outside working in his yard and enjoyed tending to his numerous blueberry bushes. Johnnie was a member of the Rebel Lunch Bunch and was a fan of the West Monroe Rebel football team and would even travel out of town with friends to see them play. Pallbearers will be Mel Shakelford, C.P. George, Bill Avant, Tony Jones, Willie Panich, Mike Callender, with alternates Cary Croft, Dean Croft, Dustin Croft, Tony Hester and Fred Frantom. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Mims and Chris Mims. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. The family would especially like to thank the Doctors and Nursing staff of Oschner's Neuro Critical Care Unit for the special care they extended to Mr. Croft and his family, while he was ill. Memorials may be made to McClendon Baptist Church Building Fund.
