EUFEMIO CRUZ

Funeral services for Eufemio (Eugene) Cruz, 86, of Farmerville, LA, will be 
held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 29, 2016 in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Paul Carter and Rev. Miquel Barrios 
officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Cruz died Friday, February 26, 2016, at St. Francis Medical Center. Mr. 
Cruz was a retired farmer and a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista in Monroe. 
He loved to be around his family, loved to play the guitar, and loved to watch 
sports, especially baseball.

Mr. Cruz was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Mary Martinez Cruz.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Cruz; sons, John Cruz and wife Patsy, Andy 
Cruz and Rachale Franklin, David Cruz; daughters, Norma Carter and husband 
Reggie, Juanita Prudencio and husband Walter; grandchildren, Jennifer Cruz and 
Jason Barnes, Bradley Carter and wife Brittany, Christina Pylant and husband 
Caleb, Zachary Prudencio, Valery Prudencio; great grandchildren, Lily Carter, 
Kerrigan Tatum, Lawson Culver, Kortland Culver, Kieran Cruz Barnes, Addison 
Pylant; and numerous nieces and nephews from the Rameriez side of the family.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Carter, Zachary Prudencio, Caleb Pylant, Reggie 
Carter, Walter Prudencio, Barnaby Martinez, Johnny Martinez, and Brian Giger.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the 
funeral home.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
