FAYE CULLUM

Faye Cullum, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Monroe on December 
5, 2015, after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her loving family! She 
was born to the late Jefferson Freeland and Anna Bell Pledger in Pioneer, 
Louisiana. She married Bill in 1964 and together they raised two daughters.

Family and friends were Faye's passion in life. She was the happiest when she 
was outdoors gardening, bird watching from the back porch or spending time with 
her two grandchildren. We will miss our "Nana" very much! She had many hobbies 
such as sewing, cooking, reading, woodwork, and playing board games with her 
grandkids.

Faye is survived by her loving husband, Billy C. Cullum, and two daughters, 
Wendy Doles (husband Todd) and Tracy Cullum (fiance Andy Nolan). She also 
leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Alexis "Lexi" Doles and Paden Doles 
along with her brother, Jeff Freeland, (wife Diane who she adored as a true 
sister) and sister, Clara Freeland. She leaves behind many other loving friends 
and family. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and brother, Lee 
Freeland.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations to the charity of 
your choice . The family wishes to thank everyone for thoughts and prayers 
during Faye's lengthy illness.

A celebration of her life ceremony will be at Mulhearn's Funeral Home, 165 
North, on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. There will be a 
prayer vigil at 6:30pm.
