ROSIA CHOP CULVER
Cox Funeral Home,

Oak Grove, LA

Requiem Mass for Mrs. Rosia Chop Culver, age 85, of Oak Grove, LA will be held 
at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in 
Oak Grove, LA. Father Zacharias Prakuzhy c.m.i. will officiate.

Rosary Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Cox 
Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. 
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.

Mrs. Culver died Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Delta Regional Medical Center in 
Greenville, MS.

After high school, she moved to Shreveport and worked as a business manager 
for Victoria Door and Sash for about twenty years. She returned home to 
operate the family grocery store in Terry, LA until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Culver; her parents, Blasco Chop 
and Julia Poyue Chop; four brothers, Bobby Chop, Frank Chop, Luther Chop, and 
Milton Chop; three sisters, Julia Chop, Dixie Chop, and Dianne Malnar. She is 
survived by brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Joyce Chop of Oak Grove; 
brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Virginia Chop of Oak Grove; five nephews; 
three nieces; seven great nephews; seven great nieces; and one great great 
nephew.

Pallbearers are Matt Rye, Patrick Rye, Blaine Chop, Cody Chop, Bert Chop, Joey 
Chop, and Chad Rye.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 between the hours of 
5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
