JAMES MICHAEL "MIKE" CUMMINS, SR

Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA

Funeral services for Mr. James Michael "Mike" Cummins, Sr., age 56, will be 
held 10:00 AM. Friday, January 9, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, 
Tallulah, LA, with Rev. John Kavanaugh officiating. Burial will follow in 
Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah, under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood 
Funeral Home, Tallulah. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Thursday at the 
funeral home.

Mr. Cummins died Wednesday morning January 7, 2009, at the Madison Parish 
Hospital from heart failure. He was born in Delhi and lived all his life in 
Tallulah. He was a manager of The Tallulah Country Club and was an alderman of 
Richmond, LA. Mr. Cummins was the owner of Cummins Housemovers and the owner of 
Camdino Enterprises and Bear Creek Gaming.

Mr. Cummins is survived by his wife Marla Evans Cummins of Tallulah; his son 
Michael and wife Amber of Tallulah; his daughter Jaime Machen and husband 
Stewart of Tallulah; three grandsons Brayden, Paul Michael and Peyton Machen 
all of Tallulah, LA; two brothers Lee and wife Gayle of Tallulah and Chester 
and wife Paula of Little Rock, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn and Silas "Red" Cummins.

Active pallbearers will be Larry Cox, Larry Wells, Wayne Edwards, Glenn 
Guimbellot, Tommy Horn, Todd Dorbeck, Keith Walters and "Jarbo" Wall.

Honorary pallbearers will be Guy Smith, Leroy, Smith, Richard Smith and Stewart 
Machen
