AUDREY ELAINE CUMPTON

Graveside Services for Ms. Audrey Elaine Cumpton, 91, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, September 22, 2014 in the Start Cemetery 
in Start, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Ms. Cumpton was born on April 28, 1923 in Rayville, LA and passed away at 
her residence in West Monroe, LA on September 18, 2014. She was a member of 
First Baptist Church in Monroe, a volunteer member of the Pink Ladies of St. 
Francis for over 20 years, a member of the Little Theater, and the Quilting 
Guild. Ms. Cumpton is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Willie 
Cumpton and by her brother, Bob Cumpton.

Survivors include her sister, Carolyn Garland; sister-in-law, Ann Cumpton; 
nieces and nephews, Jo Clanton, Ronnie Cumpton, Debra Gould, Aletha Walton, 
Gary Cumpton, Trudy Davis, Dennis Garland, Richard Garland, Brenda Preston 
and Melanie McLemore; her special caregivers, Dorothy Spears and Doris 
Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cumpton, Gary Cumpton, Dennis Garland, Ricky 
Garland, Brian Maxwell and Ron Preston.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

The family would like to thank the staff of Gamble Hospice for the love and 
care they showed her.
