West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Ouida McDuffie Cupit, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be 
at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 10, 2009, in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
of West Monroe, LA with Rev. Skip Dean officiating. Interment will follow in 
Crowville Masonic Cemetery, Crowville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Cupit was born April 23, 1928 in Franklin Parish, LA and passed away July 
7, 2009, in West Monroe, LA. She was a member of the Sonshine Sunday School 
Class of Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe. She loved to knit, work in 
her yard and garden, cook and can vegetables. Mrs. Cupit was a talented cake 
decorator and co-owner of Kitchen Kapers and specialized in teaching Wilton 
cake decorating classes.

Mrs. Cupit was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Cupit; son, Gillis 
Cupit; grandson, Scott David Little and son-in-law, John Paul Little.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Clark and husband, Ronnie; daughter-in-
law, Susie Cupit; grandsons, Brian Little, Eric Little and Brent Little; 
granddaughter, Amy Alexander; sister, Marilyn DeMoss, brother, Roy McDuffie.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Brian Little, Eric Little, Brent Little and Scott 
Alexander; and nephew, Scott Cupit and special friend, Jerry Batson.

The family extends a very special thank you and their love to Mrs. Cupit's 
brothers-in-law, Cleon Cupit and Shirley Cupit; and to her devoted and special 
friend, Willie Jean Sheilds.

Memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church Building Fund or charity of 
your choice.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.
