Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, AR with Rev. Chris Miller officiating under the direction of Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services, Rogers, AR. Dr. Curry was born on February 5, 1933 in Pine Bluff, AR and died on March 28, 2013 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family in Bentonville, AR. He served as Captain in the United States Army, serving two tours of duty. Dr. Curry graduated from Louisiana Tech University and also Loyola University New Orleans School of Dentistry. After school, Dr. Curry practiced Dentistry in West Monroe, LA for 48 years. He served on the Louisiana Board of Dentists and was a member of the American College of Dentistry. He served as president of the Northeast Louisiana Dental Association, where he received the Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Curry served as a Deacon and Elder at Highland Presbyterian Church in West Monroe, LA. In his retirement, he earned his real estate license and enjoyed serving as Historian at the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA. His most noted accomplishment was his devotion to his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dr. Curry is preceded in death by his parents, Carter Amos and Opie Church Curry; daughter, Diane Curry Norris; and great granddaughter, Haley Michelle Mulhearn. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Frances Clark Curry; sons, Richard Michael Curry and wife, Amy and David Clark Curry; daughters, Cathy Curry Mulhearn and Lauren Curry Adams and husband, Charles; son-in-law, Scott Norris; sister, Charlene Curry Oxford; half-brothers, Carter Curry and Charles Curry and their wives; grandchildren, Michael Mulhearn and wife, Joani, Caryn Curry Forsee and husband, Aaron, Jason Curry, Richard Curry, Bryan Norris, Mary Frances Norris, Morgan Adams, Mimi Adams, Charley Adams, Katie Curry, and Sadie Frances Adams; great grandchildren, Carter Mulhearn, Sophia Forsee, Brayden Forsee and Madison Kay Mulhearn; sister-in-law, Sara Clark Stone and husband, Royce; nieces and nephews, Sandra Oxford Edwards and husband, Toby, Stephen Stone, Eric Stone and wife, Dana and Susan Morris and husband, Steve.
