Tucker tuckarb701@aol.com January 5, 2006, 8:31 pm The Natchez Democrat, May 2002 Charles Carpenter November 7, 1943 - May 3, 2002 FERRIDAY,La. - Services for Charles Carpenter, 58, of Lismore, who died Friday, May 3, 2002, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. today at Young's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Windom officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday. Mr. Carpenter was born November 7, 1943, in Monroe, the son of Horace and Henrietta Carpenter. He was a medical technician and a member of Monterey Baptist Church. Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Carpenter of Lismore; three sons, Tony Carpenter and his wife, Nikki, both of Hammond, Ronnie Simms and his wife, Tina, both of Alvarado,Texas, and Danny Simms and his wife, Jan, both of Prattville,Ala.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Douglas Ballard, Mike Cook, Jimmy Dickey, Mark Dillon, David Mann and James Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Cathey, Dallas Cooke and Paul Herring.
