Larry Lanier officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mr. Daniel was a graduate of West Monroe High School and retired from BellSouth. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and reader. James served in Germany as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. He is preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Carrie Daniel. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Wales Daniel; daughter, Janna Graff and husband Tom; son, Nelson Daniel; grandchildren, Spencer, Wesley, and Landon Graff; and two cousins, Caldwell and Pearl Harris. Pallbearers are Ted Doughty, Robbie Ballard, Tony Peņa, Andy Wales, Richard Guidry, and Jim Gentry.
