SAM DANIEL

Sam Daniel 73 was born June 29, 1942. He departed this life June 26, 2016. His 
funeral was July 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses,

1604 Garrett Road, Monroe, LA. Burial was in the Richwood Memorial Garden.

Sam Daniel, a retired machine operator at Holsum Bakery was a humble loving man 
who loved his God Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. He also loved his family 
dearly.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years, Mary Jane Daniel, whom 
after 31 years of loyal, dedicated service, retired from the News Star 
Newspaper as a mail clerk.

He also leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Shaton Daniel and one 
grandson, Ma'Cari Byrd. Two sisters; Mary Ross and Eva Thomas; one brother, 
John A. Daniel, and one brother of his heart (a true friend) Oscar Allen. A 
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Sam was a man of many talents. He built his own home on Highway 165 Bypass next 
to the New Library without a blue print or contractor; with only help from 
friends; especially Billy, Tyrone and Jerome. He loved working with his hands 
and gardening. His co-workers at Holsum Bakery remember his greeting to them 
"Hello. Is everything lovely?"

To his grandson Ma'Cari he was more than a grandfather, he was his best friend. 
To his daughter Shaton, he was the love of her life; no man could ever take his 
place.

Mary Jane believes every word of Jehovah God in the Holy Bible, that the dead 
will live again under the kingdom rule of Jesus Christ in paradise on earth. 
(Psalm 37: 10, 11,29) Mary Jane is looking forward to seeing her beloved Sam in 
the resurrection when sickness and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:4)

Sam will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
