TOMMY RAY DAVIS 

Ott & Lee Funeral Home Brandon, MS. 

Tommy Ray Davis, 77, died Sunday September 30, 2007 at Jaquith Nursing Home in 
Rankin County. Funeral Services are 3 PM today at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church 
with interment to follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born in Rankin 
County, lived in Monroe, LA, for 30 years and has been a resident of Sand Hill 
for the past 20 years. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Mr. Davis 
was in the Air Force and served in the Korean War. He also loved to hunt and 
fish. Mr. Davis was a great family man and loved his grandchildren very much. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Robinson Davis in 1991; his 
parents, Anse McLaurin and Isabel McGahan Davis; one sister, Emmy Belle 
Reynolds and one brother, Mack Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by his daughter, 
Susie Degelman and husband Dave of Brandon; two sons, Mike Davis and wife 
Evelyn of West Monroe, LA. Jerry Davis and wife Libby of Sand Hill; six 
grandchildren, Jennifer, Tommy, Amy, Buddy, Justin, Sarah Lea and three great-
grandchildren, Luke, Madison, and Hannah Grace.
