David Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Maxine was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Monroe for over 60 years, where she and husband Kince, taught Sunday School and served on numerous committees, boards and volunteer groups. She was a care giving daughter, a beloved wife, an active loving mother and mother- in- law and "Mamaw" to five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Stephanie Burman and husband Richard, and Jennifer Betts and husband Steve; grandchildren, Rick Burman and wife Heather, Andy Burman and wife Natalie, Corbett Betts, Curtis Betts and wife Marie and Christy Betts Garner and husband Ryan; and great grandchildren, Gracie Burman, Chipper Burman, Reese Betts and Blake Sargent. Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, O.K. (Kince) Davis. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Davis' grandsons and J.J. Huggins and Ryan Garner. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Burman, Steve Betts, Christy Betts Garner, Jim Huggins, Jason Huggins, Jon Huggins and Reeves Stephenson. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Autism Research Institute, 24 Karen Lane, Monroe, LA 71203 or to the First Presbyterian Church, 1201 Stubbs Ave., Monroe, LA 71201.
