CLIFTON MARION DAVIS

Funeral services for Mr. Clifton Marion Davis, age 89, of Ruston, will be held 
at 2:30 PM Monday, May 4, 2015 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston. Officiating 
the service will be Rev. Dwayne Monk. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery 
near Choudrant under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of 
Ruston.

Mr. Davis was born February 9, 1926 in Choudrant to Joe Lee Davis and Mae Kelly 
Davis. He died May 1, 2015 in El Dorado, AR. Mr. Davis served in the US Army 
and then was a railroad mechanic for many years. He was preceded in death by 
his wife of 48 years: Margaret June Davis; his parents and a brother: Roy 
Hilton Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his children: William Robert Davis and Connie Davis; 
grandchildren: Clifton Davis and wife Amanda, Dawn Taylor, Joe Taylor, William 
Robert Davis, Jr. and wife Lori and Christopher Childress and wife Amy; 13 
great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister: Joy Davis Stansbury; 
brother: Nalda Joe Davis and wife Virginia; nieces: Terry and husband Robin 
LaForge, Tyeece Hendrix and Linda and husband Steve Fields and nephews: Jerry 
Ray Stansbury and wife Sandy and Bruce Davis and wife Dianne.

Pallbearers will be: William Robert Davis, Jr., Christopher Childress, Clifton 
Davis, Isaac Taylor, Jerry Ray Stansbury and Bruce Davis. Visitation will be 
held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Owens Memorial Chapel in
