Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Avis "Tum" Hammons Day, 93, of West Monroe, 
LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 19, 2009 in the chapel of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA . Rev. Larry Hibbard will officiate. Interment to 
follow at Acree Cemetery, Point, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Martha Avis "Tum" Hammons Day was born April 18, 1916 in Union Parish, LA 
to Ozema and Mack Hammons and passed away June 16, 2009 in West Monroe, LA.

She was married to Ollien O. Day and he preceded her in death and three 
brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Day was retired from Glenwood Regional 
Medical Center.

"Aunt Tum" is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

We would like to thank Ridge Crest Retirement Home and Golden Ages for all the 
joy they gave her and Glenwood Regional Medical Center for the care in her 
final hours.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
