West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Jeffery D. Dean 85, of West Monroe, LA will be at 11:00 
AM, Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West 
Monroe, LA with Rev. Skip Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn 
Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, La. under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home, West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Dean was born December 14, 1923 in McCall Creek, Ms. and passed away in 
Monroe, LA. on May 2, 2009.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a 
retired Machinist at Olin Papermill. Mr. Dean was a member of Mt. Vernon 
Baptist Church. His death leaves a heartache only God can heal, but love 
leaves a memory that no one can steal.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Nettles Dean, parents, Edward and 
Clara Dean.

He is survived by his daughters, Edna Canal, Clara Wall, Linda Moore and 
husband Ernest, grandsons, Shane Moore, Troy Moore and wife Toni, David Canal 
and wife Sherry, Jeffery Wall, grand daughter, Kala Crowe and husband Todd, 
great grandchildren,Tyler Moore, Mandy Casey, Sydnee Crowe, Bailey Crowe, 
Carlee Canal, Hunter Canal, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, 
special friend, Ada Lenard.

Pallbearers will be David Canal, Troy Moore, Shane Moore, Jeffery Wall, Joey 
Crawford, Kermit Soileau.

Visitation will be Monday, May 4, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
