MARY BELL DEGGANS

Funeral services for Mary Bell Deggans, 91, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 
2:00 Thursday, April 10, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, 
West Monroe, LA. Rev. Todd Gunter will be officiating. Interment will follow 
at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Deggans was born November 27, 1922 in Rayville, LA and passed away April 
8, 2014 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. 
Deggans; father and mother; Oren and Anna Williamson; sisters; Lola Nix, Ellie 
Jarmon, Fannie Norris; brother, Oren Williamson, Jr.; son-in-law, Sonny Batson.

She is survived by her daughters; Jean Batson and Dianne Mann; grandchildren, 
Carl Batson and wife Cheryl, Robert Batson and wife Donna; great-
grandchildren; Shawn Batson, Stacy Batson, Megan Batson, Adam Batson; step-
grandchildren; Willie Ates, Ashley Smith and Justin Smith and wife Jennifer; 
sister, Vida Mae Green; host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
